Program Purpose
U14 athletes enter a stage of accelerated learning, where training volume and complexity increase alongside physical and cognitive development.
Athlete Development Focus
- Refinement of technical skills
- Building training consistency
- Introduction to performance habits
On-Snow Training
- Regular discipline-specific gate training
- Technical focus supported by video feedback
- Increased training intensity with appropriate recovery
Tactical & Cognitive Development
- Advanced course inspection
- Tactical decision-making under pressure
Competition & Events
- Regular race participation
- Learning to manage competition schedules
Technical Skills
- Advanced edging and pressure control
- Discipline-specific technical demands
Physical Development
- Structured dryland focusing on mobility, coordination, and basic strength
- Awareness of growth-related changes
Athlete Wellbeing & Safety
- Injury prevention and recovery education
- Mental skills introduction
Parent Role
- Support athlete independence
- Help manage school, sport, and recovery balance
2025-2026 Ski Season Program Cost
Tyee Family Membership - $385
U14 Program Fee - $3955 (2 weekday evening and 2 weekend day)
- Program Fee includes December Christmas Camp.
- Program Fee does not cover team travel and race fees.

2025-2026 Training Camps
Participation in training camp is OPTIONAL, but it offers a meaningful opportunity for athletes to train, bond, and live alongside their teammates. Parent chaperones will ensure the highest standard of care for all athletes during training camps.
All racing camps are team travel and the cost include the following unless communicated otherwise:
- Meals and snacks
- Accommodation cost
- All lift ticket, coaching and lane reservation fees
- Travel expenses (Bus or Flight)
2025/2026 Training Camp Schedule and Cost:
- Mt Sima, YUKON - November 13 to 22 (8 days gate training) about $3100
- Sun Peaks, BC - December 6 to 9 (4 days gate training) about $1300
- Mt. Baldy, BC - December 20 to 23 (4 days gate training) about $880
- Mt. Baldy, BC - January 3 to 5 (3 days gate training) about $675
- Silver Star, BC - January 23 to 26 (4 days gate training + Super G) about $1200
